Nila had asked for mineral water for a bathing scene of hers and it looks like Jai is also afflicted by that idea. After 'Subramaniapuram,' he has about half a dozen offers on hand. One is 'Arjunan Kaadhali' in which the heroine is Poorna.
The shooting is taking place near Kutralam. The unit got ready to shoot a song sequence with jai getting wet in the rain. A pipe was used to take water flowing from river of the Kutralam waterfall to make artificial rain. After the painstaking arrangements were made, Jai arrives at the shooting spot and says, "River water? This does not agree with me!" much to the shock of the unit.
Despite being told that this was the water mixed with herbs that flowed from the Kutralam waterfall, Jai refused to do the scene unless mineral water was used. His adamancy led to the unit bringing in a lorry load of pure water after which Jai agreed to do the scene.
